That a wife rebels against due obedience of her husband.
المعنى الاصطلاحي :
A wife's refusal to disobey her husband and her rebellious attitude towards him concerning his due rights without a valid excuse.
الشرح المختصر :
"Nushooz" (disobedience/misbehaving) is the state of a wife who treats her husband with arrogance and ill-conduct. This includes leaving her husband's house without a valid reason, preventing him from satisfying his sexual desire with her, etc.
التعريف اللغوي المختصر :
"Nushooz": it is derived from "nashaz", which means a high, elevated place. "Nashazat" means that a wife disobeys her husband, hates him, treats him with arrogance, and consideres him inferior.
