المعنى الاصطلاحي
A guarantee to bring a person or property to someone to whom a right is due.
التعريف اللغوي المختصر
"Kafālah": guarantee. "Kafeel": guarantor. Derived from "kafl", which means the inclusion of something in another. Financial maintenance is called "kafālah"; it is as if the one who provides for the orphan has included him and joined him to himself. Other meanings: financial maintenance, encompassment.
