التعريف :
To move one’s body sideways, up and down in well-balanced moves.
المعنى الاصطلاحي :
To move the body in rhythmic motions which incorporate shaking, upward and downward movement, and swaying.
التعريف اللغوي المختصر :
"Raqs": movement and vibration. A person's heart is said to do "raqs" when it vibrates and moves. Other meanings: acceleration, downward and upward movement, swaying, shaking, playing.
